21st Century Community Learning Center (CLC)

Maine Department of Education | The Boys and Girls Clubs Kennebec Valley

The 21st Century Community Learning Center, known as CLC, is funded by the Maine Department of Education to provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for Teen Center members.

Members are tutored in small groups by MSAD 11 teachers, Ed techs and high school students that are in the top 10 percent of their class. Members must check in with their tutor at least three out of four days to keep tutoring spot.

CLC tutoring hours are Monday through Thursday 2:30  p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and enrichment activities are on Fridays. Children that are a part of our CLC program can be at the Club during any Teen Center hours.
