Summer Programs | Boys & Girls Clubs of Kennebec Valley
The Club’s summer camp is for ages 5 (children entering Kindergarten in the fall) through High School. Summer camp is an eight week program where members can attend one week up to all eight weeks. Registration in advance is required for all ages.
The United Way of Kennebec Valley makes is possible for the Club to provide summer assistance to families in need. Scholarship applications are available at the same time as the registration forms. All applications must also have a completed Registration form to be considered.
Scholarship applications are due the last Friday in May. Incomplete and/or late applications will not be considered.
Kindergarten and 1st Grade attend one field trip per week with the preschool school children.
School Age Grades 2-5 attend two field trips per week. The field trips are based on the theme of that week. Field trips have ranged from Popham Beach, Fort Knox, Aquaboggan and OOB.
Teen Center grade 6th and up attend two field trips a week. They have gone to places like The Escape Room, Urban Air, Funtown, Maine State Parks and Monkey C Monkey Do.
All field trips are subject to change and are weather permitting.
Summer Fees are $110.00 per week for residents; $135.00 per week for non-residents.
Residents are participants who reside in one of our partnership towns: Chelsea, Gardiner, Pittston, Randolph, Richmond and West Gardiner.
