Chelsea Clubhouse & Palermo Clubhouse
Our mission is to provide quality, year-round, school age childcare for students attending Chelsea, Whitefield, and Palermo students age 5 to 12. Both of our Clubhouses are licensed childcare centers and follow all the Maine State Licensing Rules & Regulations. 

Chelsea Clubhouse: 

Our Chelsea Clubhouse is located at the Chelsea Elementary School. We offer a year round child care program to students of Chelsea and Whitefield Elementary ages 5 to 12. Whitefield students are transported by RSU 12 to the Chelsea Clubhouse after school. Chelsea families can pick between Before & After Care or After Care. Whitefield families unfortunately can only participate in After Care since there is no transportation to school. Afternoon snacks are provided daily by RSU 12 and breakfast and lunch are provided when needed. The Club is open on workshops days, Feb/Apr vacation, school delays and snow days. The Club opens at 6:30am and closes at 5:30pm. During a normal school day before school care is 6:30am to 8:00am extended time is offered when there is a school delay and after school care is 2:30pm to 5:30pm on Mon./Tues./Thurs./Fri. & 1:30pm to 5:30pm on Wed. Hours of operation for full day care is 6:30am to 5:30pm.

Cost: Chelsea is the ONLY Clubhouse that offers just after care due to Whitefield students.  

School Year Before & After Care $110.00 per week 

School Year After Care $75.00 per week

Vacations & Summers Weeks (First full week once school has been released) currently $145.00 per week /  $155.00 per week starting summer of 2024

The Chelsea Clubhouse also hosts one of the three 21st Century Community Learning Center Sites for students in 3rd-8th grade. For more information about the CCLC program click here. This program is not part of licensed child care. Students do not need to be a member of child care to participate in CCLC. 

Palermo Clubhouse:

BGCKV's newest Clubhouse is located at Palermo Consolidated School. The Club offers year round child care for students ages 5 to 12. Members can attend before & after school as well as full day care when needed. During a normal day morning care begins at 6:30am to 8:00am when there is school delay morning departure is extended and after school care started at 2:30pm to 5:30pm on Mon./Tues./Thurs./Fri. and 1:30pm to 5:30pm on Wed. 

Cost: 

School Year Before & After Care $110.00 per week

School Year fee cover both before school & after school, all workshops, vacation weeks (Feb/Apr), snow days and school delays. 

Summer Weeks (First full weeks once school has been released) $155.00 per week starting summer of 2024

Hours of Operations for Both Clubhouses

We offer before & afterschool programming as well as full day care on vacations, no school days and snow days. The Club opens at 6:30am  

Spaces are limited at Both Clubhouses. Please check Program Director for availability. Registration forms are available here. All original forms MUST be submitted to the program director before starting any program. Childcare licensing also requires the Club to have immunization records on all kids file before a child care start.
